Salvia St John Fire is a Winter season flower. Best for shady places or places with less reach of sunlight. The vibrant red colour of flowers stands out in contrast with the dark green foliage.Salvia is best suited to be grown in places with rare sunlight during the course of day. The plant grows about 12 to 15 inches. Salvia spreads happily in beds as well as in pots. It is recommended to plant 3 plants in a 12 inch pot for a full  dense looking pot. Use well drained soil mix for best results.
